Welcome to Le Zahir Lodge, a small structure dedicated to the traveler who wants to have his eyes full of images and his heart full of emotions.
The structure was built in the style of African lodges: particular attention was paid to the comfort and service to which the client is accustomed. The Zahir Lodge ensures you a unique, exclusive and privileged atmosphere, while offering you many examples of Malagasy culture, crafts and traditions. We will be happy to introduce you to the Zafimaniry culture which for most people is still unknown and yet it is declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Zahir is a word that comes from Arabic culture and means the desire you feel inside and the dream you want to live.
There are two types of bungalows:
2 luxury bungalows (suites), family bungalows of approximately 80 square meters consisting of two bedrooms each with its own bathroom, living room, kitchen and veranda of approximately 52 square meters fully covered.
6 luxury bungalows of approximately 45 m² consisting of a bedroom, an antechamber/studio with additional bed, bathroom and kitchen and fully covered veranda of approximately 15 m².
Western comfort in perfect Malagasy style
The Zahir Lodge is a place built entirely according to the Malagasy style and tradition, great attention has been given to the comfort and services you are used to. Indeed, each bungalow is decorated differently with original furniture and objects that reflect Malagasy crafts and culture.
All rooms have large 5-speed fans, safes, beds adorned with large mosquito nets. The bathrooms have hot water and hairdryers.
Covering an area of approximately 80 square meters, the bungalow is made up of two bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, living room and kitchen. The Veranda of about 70 square meters is completely covered.
The bungalows are called « Aloalo » and « Madagascar ».
The Bar Restaurant is an octagonal structure that measures about 150 m², its roof is built totally in wood and satrana, it is about 10 meters high. In standard conditions, the establishment can accommodate up to 40 people. The Bar is equipped with fans, and customers can enjoy free wifi, IPod console, satellite TV system, video projector with a 250 x 150 cm screen that allows you to enjoy TV programming and video projection from CD players and hard drives onto a large screen.
