Just a short walk down from the former Queen’s Palace of Manjakamiadana, the first museum of photography is a real innovation for the capital city of Madagascar. The gallery represents various photography collection showing the history of Madagascar through different periods, the daily life of the Malagasy people, images after the independence and the period of great constructions. It’s another way to learn more about Madagascar and the hidden history of the “Town of Thousand”.

The “Café du Musée” is open from Tuesday to Sunday, a great spot for having lunch.
